MARS - WRIGLEY'S CHEWING GUM

A complete redesign that spanned over a two year period and the first project for a new client, Mars. The task required somebody that had design experience but also very precise artworking attributes due to the small pack sizes. The project also needed somebody that was very familiar with Flexo, Gravure and Lithographic printing processes and in particular, understanding colour manipulation using overprint utilising Mars' own devised colour system to get the required colours using minimal colour units on press.

My first task was to create master layouts using the core design for each pack size, then those were used to create alternative flavours. The project contained around 800 different layouts. I managed the project from day one creating the design masters, later overseeing the core team and checking that everything we sent out was print ready and correct.
