BAYER - BEROCCA KIDS

Eight quirky designs for Berocca Kids, a brand owned by the company Bayer. These vector based layouts were fun to work with but came with their own challenges, in particular the trapping of the vector characters. After working out the best route using overprints and the smallest of trapping we managed to get them repro ready. This was challenging also because the sachets were printed using flexographic, the cartons were lithographic and the bottle wrap was printed gravure.

The client was very happy with the results, this being one of their brands they revisit on a regular basis we tried to keep them as close to the branding used previously as we could, but still giving them a freshen up for the new designs with new characters and cleaner design.

  • Ultra precision artworking on a small scale.

  • Colour manipulation using the usual CMYK and Pantone colour systems.

  • Alignment of the colours used considering the three different printing techniques used to create the layouts.

  • Ultra precise trapping techniques to ensure the vectors stayed as true to their originals as much as possible.
