Mars - Galaxy Special Edition Packs

A very enjoyable project for mega client, Mars, this time working in the chocolate sector. Using my findings from the core Galaxy packs I also worked on, I created five special edition packs which highlighted sustainability. They were named Flourish, Grow, Source, Better and one named Thrive aimed at supporting women in the cocoa farming industry.

Chocolate layouts do not use the Mars unique colour system, so this project required a lot of colour work to attain the required colours using clever overprint techniques due to the limited amount of colour units available on press. We also had to assure alignment of these colours for the packs and the on shelf packaging due to using two different printing techniques, gravure and flexographic.
